Hey you,
So here’s the deal: I’m going to be in China in a couple weeks.
Without going into too much detail, I planned this trip several months ago, and immediately got all these books and everything was totally gonna know EVERYTHING ABOUT CHINA EVER.
Then some stuff happened and the trip looked like it wasn’t going to happen, so I put the books away.
Then only a couple weeks ago the trip officially got confirmed and so now I have 2 weeks to prepare for China.
I don’t want to be the rude American in China
I personally don’t like the idea of traveling to another country without trying to learn at least a little of the language, so now I’m trying to give myself a crash-course in Chinese – supposedly one of the most difficult languages in the world.
So I decided to vlog about it. Because why not?
Enjoy the chaos!
And if you have any insight into travel in China PLEASE leave a comment. I could use all the help I can get at this point.
P.S. I made a post about Prepping for China when I first booked the trip, if you’re interested you can read that here: Prepping for China part 1: How to Find Safe Food
