Sometimes nothing sounds more perfect than a remote Cabin tucked away from the world.
Ya know, the kind of place where you and your S/O can curl up by a quiet fire, or you could spend a few days chillin’, drinking, cooking and exploring with a group of friends… or maybe even get murdered if you’re a group of young people that decide “let’s split up” is the best course of action when you hear a mysterious noise out in the woods.
Yes, sometimes a weekend cabin getaway is all you need. And now that fall is moving on in, a weekend out somewhere where the leaves are changing sounds even better.
I’ve been tossing around the idea of finding a cabin to rent with some friends (without the threat of murder, hopefully) so I thought I’d check out some cabins on Airbnb, and came back with waaay too many amazing choices.
If you need to road trip it to one of these little cottage-esque airbnb spots, make sure to load up some road trip apps before you go!
Keep in mind the renters can change the pricing, rules, etc. whenever they want, so the listings included in this post are subject to change.

Cabins on Airbnb that you can rent
I searched around the world, but found a lot of cool cabins in the mountains of Europe and the East Coast forests in the U.S. All the places have high reviews as of writing this up and include the ENTIRE cabin, not just a room. Some are pricier than others, but that’s offset by the number of people you can bunk with. Once you split the cost among a few people they’re very affordable.

OHMYGAWD I can practically feel fall – it’s SO CLOSE. I’m pretty excited, guys.
It’s nice to know that even if you can’t afford to own a cabin on the lake for family getaways, you can find some really awesome and reasonably priced options like these. Some let you bring pets as well, which is a plus for me since I’m all about bringing my dog on adventures.
Smores, campfires, cozy cabins, hikes, good friends, late nights… maybe some Halloween-type movies if you like scaring yourself.
